ok, right now its taking up 4 spaces on the base, but it can only repair ONE player every 30 minutes? can we please make it so that it can repair everyones ship, and the 30 minute timer is moved to an individual basis, not a legionwide basis?

I agree. Repair Bay should be either 30 minutes per player or every 10 minutes global timer for the legion.

please at least change the description. it was very misleading. i thought that it would automatically repair our ships over time, like the shield recharge. i was VERY surprised to see that it was a one-per-30 minutes-per-player kinda thing...

I like the idea of it repairing ship hulls over time better.

Problem with that is the fact that the repair bay is in the base and unless the base is playing tag-along with you, I don't think you should be auto-repaired. Now, What I suggest for the repair bay:

1. Full repairs when used. 10 min cool-down timer for player.
2. 10 repairs per 30min cycle (the repair bay can repair 10 times before "exhausting supplies" and need to wait until next supply cycle which occurs every 30 minutes so as not to abuse the system.) * pulled number 10 out of the air could be any number
3. Every player guarding the base will auto repair similar to shields.

Also I believe that we should be able to add more than 1 repair bay and this give incentives to add so the base can become more of a repair center instead of a resource center giving legions more flexibility depending on legion play style (more repair bays give an impression of npc hunting / pvp style legion).

I like those ideas, but I think it should be more basically, you pay and you can be repaired, no timer, but at a cost, just an idea, but the legion wide timer is way off in my opinion, especially if you have a few heavy PVP guys using it all the time

haha, what about NPC ? I imagine lazuli fixer sitting there farming too. I actually put hull back on the ship now I am farming NPC at about twice the rate, but because it hasn't become popular to use yet in my legion. Maybe if it created several timed repair slots like 3-4, it would serve a legion better.

I fully agree with Frostraven's proposals and with Vekno on the description change. ATM the repair bay is not worth the four spaces it takes up, and if that wont be fixed then people should atleast know what their getting into.

Here is an idea:

the Repair bay can give each member 1 free repair a day.

That does actually average out to 30m -> 24h = about 50 repairs/day. Although, the only reason I like it as is because I am monopolizing it lol. In general though, not everyone is going to be hull tanking or even NPC/pvp in a day, so there's going to be a lost productivity there. Depends on the legion, but I suspect a few people at a time would be using it when they're active.

Make it so a legion member has to play the "ship repair minigame" for you to be repaired.

ok, I will take back my previous suggestion if we can change the repair bay to over ride your normal repair timer, I mean what's the point of both?

Other thought for fairness, every so often 10-15 minutes, the repair bay repairs a random person with hull less than 10%.

I agree that it needs to be improved but not exponentially. Giving each player one repair a day is good or reducing the cool down timer to 15 minutes.

What I'd like to see is that you can either repair with the repair bay, even if your repair timer isn't up, or reduce it so it is 30 minutes per person, or even both.
