I've read the wiki and see that NPCs give experience upon kill. When I killed an NPC, I also noticed that I was given a credit reward for disabling, but didn't see anything indicating that in the wiki. Do all NPCs give credits when disabled? If so, is the amount determined by the rank/difficulty of the NPC, or is the value determined by the rank of the human player killing said NPC?

Also, how does NPC respawn work? I read that NPCs respawn every 8 hours, but I also read that someone killed 50 in a day. How exactly does NPC encounter work? I've also noticed that with the 2 slots I have available, only one will be filled sometimes. So, is this just a page loading error, or is there something I need to do to get an NPC to fill that slot?

When you kill an NPC, another NPC will take it's place as a new respawn and the 8 hour countdown timer starts there. However, Uncommon take 24 hours; rare, 24; and extremely rare bosses, 3 days. (correct me if i'm wrong.) Upon respawn it's completely random at what is in your NPC battle list.

When this happens, just click battle tab button again. It's a bug. Simply reloading the page is all that's needed to fill the rest of the NPC slots.

Thanks, Delta62. So, what you're saying is that if an NPC spawns, and I kill it in five minutes, it will still take as long as it normally would for it to expire before another NPC spawns in its place? Or is it simply that common NPCs are only present for 8 hours before automatically cycling to a new one, and killing it before that time will instantly respawn another in it's place?

You kill it, and another immediately takes it place.

do you remember what npc it was? because as far as i'm aware you only get experience points (denoted by Image), not credits (denoted by Image) from killing NPCs

It was a razor scout and gave 2500 credits and 12 credits in addition to the usual experience gained from attacking the NPC, neither of which seems to match the wiki.
