Jammers and Cloaking Modules

Jammers and Cloaking Devices both count towards your Cloaking Ability. Cloak provides the following bonuses:

  • Decreases the chance your ship will be randomly attacked.
  • Reduce the chance for a critical strike in combat.
  • Increases your hacking potential and hacking defense.
  • Provides cloaking to any guarded planet.

You can have a total of two Jammers and two Cloaking Devices on your ship. That is why this section has them split up into two sections because they can BOTH be built at the same time.

The current maximum Cloak that can be obtained purely from researchable equipment (ignoring any artifact, Race or Profession bonuses) is from 2 Inverse Flux Jammer-Mark IIIs and 2 Dimensional Mask-Mark IIIs, which give 2764 Cloak for 216 decks and take a total upkeep of 3,100,000,000 (3.1 billion) credits per day.

1 The Sha'din Supercomputer, A.I. Core and Hypergrid Core all have scan listed as their "primary" bonus. They are included here because they also give exactly the same amount of cloak

2 The Triaxial Array will install as Mark II if you currently have at least one Trinity-Core Drive installed.
