What is Galaxy Legion?
Galaxy Legion is a persistent sci-fi strategy MMO that runs in your browser. Free to play, nothing to download, online since 2010.
What you do
- Build. Outfit your starship from thousands of modules and artifacts.
- Colonize. Discover rare worlds and grow them into thriving colonies.
- Conquer. Invade planets, hunt enemy ships, siege rival bases.
- Unite. Join a legion and shape galaxy-wide politics.
Combat
Fight 282 classes of enemy ships, raid and hack other players, and team up with your legion against bosses too strong to take down alone.
Planets and colonies
Scan deep space for rare planets, build colonies that produce resources every hour, and defend them. Other players can invade and take what you hold.
Galactic politics
Spread your influence across star regions, vote on galaxy-wide initiatives that change the rules for everyone, and convene the Galactic Council for rewards.
Seasonal events
Events rotate all year: alien traders, galactic crises, invasions, each with unique enemies and minigames. There are also daily challenges, missions, and 518 medals to earn.
Your character
You choose one of 17 races and one of 15 professions. Each gives a permanent bonus, and every species can be evolved further as you progress.
Playing with others
A legion is a group of up to 50 players (more with the right base modules) who share planet locations, send each other resources, repair each other's ships, and fight together.
How to start
Go to the start page and sign in with Google, Discord, Steam, Facebook. There is no separate registration form. Your first session walks you through missions, scanning for a planet, and joining a legion. The How to Play page covers the rest.
